2020

Once again I found the way to make a post. Doesn't mean I will remember. I could write a post it note but I'd lose that among the other post a notes. lol

Coming up on my 81st birthday in October. It will be two years since I had a stroke 2 days before my birthday. Good thing I'm not superstitious.

Don't know why I'm writing, have no readers.

  1. I come via Can it happen Here? I hope you had a nice October birthday. I was 80 years old last March. My daughter had already bought tickets for us to fly to Miami where I had never been to celebrate. She cancelled all the plans because of the coronavirus. I celebrated my birthday alone with my cat, but that’s OK. The way the virus is going, I might celebrate alone again next March. I hope you birthday was nice.

Now how is this going to go? Brand new blog, maybe. I keep getting warnings on the old one as not secure.  This is a 'whatyouseeiswhatyouget' editor.  Yesterday's tea luncheon went well. Millie is such a gracious hostess and definitely was reared in the South. The table setting was beautiful, it was her mother's wedding china she told us. Before we sat down I was admiring the salt cellars in her buffet. I have some that were my Grandma's.  It's funny growing up Grandma used salt shakers, I never saw the salt cellar's I have.   Millie has a cross someone made out of twigs from her tree. I would like to try that, we have a lot of twigs from the hybrid oak out front.  I can't recall what the cord was or the Bible verse tying Millie's together.  Millie had sent her husband to pick me up. My mind just was not zeroing in on the google map. I could see no way to drive and follow the instructions and with my shorter every day memory that would be no he...

Found the lost

I have no earthly idea if I will find the way to post again. As I age I dislike change even more. It is hard to keep up and I just turned 79 in Oct. Two days before I found my head hitting the concrete floor of the garage. First hospital took a scan, brain bleed, off to another hospital where the second one was found. Spent our 58th anniv. there also. After a week off to rehab where I learned to use a walker as my balance is really off.  Why am I writing where no one reads?
